Directions to the Academy and Virginia Tech
From the North, South, and East:
- Take exit 118 B off Interstate 81. Follow “Virginia
Tech” signs.
- Stay on Rt. 460 west towards Blacksburg for about 6
miles.
- Follow signs to the “VT Sports Complex”.
- Turn right at the light onto Southgate Drive.
- (Stop at Visitor’s Center on your right for parking
pass if it’s a weekday)
- Take your 2nd left (Spring Rd.)
- Take a right at the stop sign (Washington Rd.)
- Residence Halls will be on your left hand side after
1/4 mile.
- Check-in starts at 11 AM.
Note: Best parking spots are in big lots on either side of the
Basketball Coliseum.
From the West:
- Take exit 9 off Interstate 77 in West Virginia, (Princeton
exit)
- Stay on Rt. 460 east towards Blacksburg for about 45
miles.
- Follow signs to the “VT Sports Complex”.
- Turn left onto Southgate Drive.
- (Stop at Visitor’s Center on your right for parking
pass if it’s a weekday)
- Take your 2nd left (Spring Rd.)
- Take a right at the stop sign (Washington Rd.)
- Residence Halls will be on your left hand side after
1/4 mile.
