Description
The Team Academy concept is a great way to have an entire team come to the Academy and receive not just excellent training, but also incorporate these training methods into specific team needs. The Academy coaching staff can focus on tactical and technical issues that have plagued a team during the past season. It's a chance to introduce new strategies or more difficult soccer concepts over a relatively short period of time. The Academy staff will discuss any specific needs with the team's coach in advance of camp. The Academy will also select a coach that is best suited for coaching that particular age group. It's a great way to get a break from your current coaching strategies while having fun in our Virginia Tech Soccer environment. Some specific team issues may be: How to keep better ball possession. How to utilize players in all field positions more effectively. How to play a pressing style of soccer. How to become a better attacking team or defensive team, etc... We can address any individual needs a team may have. |
